Reflections from Tracy

Rooted in the Land
As a proud resident of Mashpee and member of the Mashpee Wampanoag Tribe, my connection to this land runs deep--through the generations who cared for it before me and through my son and his generation who will inherit what we collectively build today. One of my favorite memories from childhood, is going out on local waterways like Punkhorn Point and Ockway Bay to get clams and mussels with my mom and blueberry picking at the best spots around town with my Grandma Loretta. It brings me so much joy to share this same connection to the land with my son, Isaiah. We love going out shellfishing and foraging for tasty seasonal berries! I want so much to ensure that the generations that come after us, have clean water and protected lands to thrive on and enjoy.
Serving on the Select Board isn't just about leadership for me; it's about honoring generations of stewardship, resilience, and community.
